One planet, 1.4 billion hexagons

Own a hexagon of the real world.

EarthGrid divides the entire planet into hexagonal tiles laid over a live 3D map. Buy the ones you care about — your street, your favourite bar, a mountain, a landmark — make them yours with images and links, and trade them with other collectors.

Buying

From spinning the globe to owning a piece of it

No jargon and no wallets. Buying a hexagon works like buying anything else online.

1 · Find your hexagon

Spin the globe, search an address, or open the landmark directory. Zoom in and the grid gets finer: a tile at max zoom is roughly one rooftop, a tile a level out covers a city block.

2 · Select it

In Places mode you click a real building, house or landmark and the hexagon under its footprint is selected. In Draw mode you drag a rectangle and grab up to 250 hexagons at once.

3 · Pay by card

Checkout happens in the app with an ordinary card payment. No wallet, no seed phrase, no blockchain steps. Credits are optional if you'd rather pre-load a balance.

4 · It's registered to you

The moment payment confirms, the hexagon is written to your account, appears in your dashboard, and shows your name to anyone who clicks it on the map.

Ownership

What owning a hexagon actually gives you

Exclusive, permanent and public — a digital collectible tied to real coordinates. It confers no real-world property rights over the land beneath it.

Claimed once, forever

Every hexagon on Earth can be claimed exactly once. After that the only route to it is buying it from its owner — nobody, including us, can hand out a duplicate.

A real place, not a made-up map

The grid sits on live map data, so your tile corresponds to actual coordinates: your street, your office, a stadium, a mountain, the Eiffel Tower.

Public and valued live

Claims and resales are public. Your portfolio is valued continuously and ranked on the leaderboard alongside every other collector.

Yours to sell

You can list any tile you own at any price, any time. Ownership transfers automatically when a buyer checks out.

Customizing

Your tile becomes a small page on the map

Anyone who clicks your hexagon sees your card — and it appears on your public collector profile too.

Cover image

Upload a photo — the view from the window, your logo, a shot of the building — and it becomes the face of your tile.

Title and story

Name the tile and write a description. Why this hexagon? Who lives there? What happened here?

Colour theme

Pick a theme so your tile card looks distinct when someone opens it from the globe or your profile.

Links out

Point the tile at your website or socials. Every visitor who clicks your hexagon on the map sees it.

Real landmarks, real buildings

Gold markers on the map are unclaimed landmarks. The directory lists them per country, ranked so the famous ones come first.

Claim a whole area at once

Draw mode lets you drag a rectangle over up to 250 hexagons — a full block, a park, an entire island — and pay in one checkout.

An open resale market

Every owner sets their own price. Featured listings surface on the marketplace, and EarthGrid takes only a small commission.

Card payments, optional credits

Buy tiles directly by card whenever you like. Credit packs are a shortcut for fast repeat claims, never a requirement.

Pricing

Small tiles are cheap, big tiles cost more

Each hexagon contains about seven smaller ones a zoom level in, so price scales with size. A rooftop tile starts at base price; a district tile costs what all the tiles inside it would.

Ready when you are

Pick your hexagon before someone else does

Tiles are first come, first served. Once a hexagon is claimed, the only way to get it is to buy it from its owner.
